Donald E. Allen graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in 1977, and from the University of Puget Sound Law School (now Seattle University Law School) with his J.D. in 1981. He has been in private practice since 1982 and has handled evictions for L/T services since 1982. 75% of his practice in in handling unlawful detainers, eviction related bankruptcies and other tenant problems, including discrimination charges. He has been a frequent speaker at seminars and classes on Landlord/Tenant related issues.
 

Richard C. Cohan is a 1973 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.  He has been in private practice since April 1981, with offices in King County.  75% of his current practice is in residential landlord-tenant litigation.

Appellate cases from the residential landlord-tenant litigation are very infrequent.  He was the attorney, from start to finish, for the successful landlord in two recent cases that began in King County superior Court, and concluded in the Washington Court of Appeals: Josephinium Associates vs. Kahli, 111 Wash App. 617 (2002) and Housing Resource Group v. Price 92 Wash App. 394 (1998).  He has worked in conjunction with L/T services (LTS) for over twenty years, and together they are the leading source of knowledge and expertise in the area of residential landlord-tenant issues.

Carol A. Kemp has been practicing law in Seattle for 22 years, since 1981. Since 1987 she has been associated with L/T Services, handling evictions on behalf of landlords and property managers in Snohomish County. She graduated in 1976 from Amherst College, having also attended Vassar Collage. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 1979 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After passing the bar there and practicing law there for two years, she moved to Seattle and has been here since.
